Ansuini<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n

The Ansuini goldsmith tradition started at the beginning of the 19th century with Giovanni, son of the administrator of the Duke Caetani lands in Tuscia, a region north of Rome. Giovanni\u2019s father found, by chance, some Etruscan furnishings and jewels of precious workmanship, and took care of their recovery with such great skill that the Duke decided to entrust him with the management of all excavations in the Tuscia region. Giovanni returned in Rome in 1860 and founded his jewellery shop in Piazza Navona. Thanks to the accuracy, elegance and quality of his works, he became the jeweller of the Roman aristocracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


In 1914 Giovanni\u2019s son Nicola, moved the jewelry shop position to Corso Vittorio Emanuele at Palazzo Massimo, where it is still now operating. The most important orders were carried out for the Royal Family, the Aristocracy and the Vatican. In awrite-up of a December 1913 fashion magazine, Nicola is cited as deserving \u201cfame for his skillful production of jewels and silverware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
